What Glassian Does

Glassian is a visionOS app that lets you create, view, and interact with 3D Gaussian Splats. You can generate splats from photos using on-device machine learning, or import existing splat files.

Data We Collect

None. Glassian does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no servers.

Photo Library Access

When you choose to generate a splat from a photo, Glassian requests access to your photo library. Selected photos are:

• Processed entirely on your device using Apple's Neural Engine
• Never uploaded to any server or external service
• Not retained by the app — only the generated 3D splat is saved

Hand & World Tracking

Glassian uses Apple's ARKit APIs for hand tracking and world sensing to enable gesture controls and spatial anchoring. This data is:

• Used in real-time only for gesture recognition
• Never recorded, stored, or transmitted
• Processed entirely within Apple's ARKit framework on your device

On-Device Storage

Generated splats, imported files, thumbnails, and your preferences are stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed storage. You can delete all saved data at any time from Settings within the app.

Third-Party Services

Glassian does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs that collect or share your data.

Children's Privacy

Glassian does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
